The quality of the air in your home is extremely important, whether you are awake spending time with friends and family, or asleep, you are breathing in whatever harmful pollution may be within your home.
At Anena Indoor Air Quality Testing and Consulting (ANENA) our professional methodologies provide our clients with solutions and peace of mind, knowing they are living in a safe environment.
If you suspect you may have mould in an area of your residence or business, before opening up the wall and possibly releasing microbial spores call ANENA. Opening a wall with a microbial contamination problem can spread mould spores around your entire residence or business. Removing the contaminated materials from the affected area, without proper containment, will disperse these spores to different areas of your residence or business.
For a list of possible areas asbestos containing materials (ACM) may be found, please see our Asbestos section.)
Asbestos, although it has always been dangerous, is now just starting to be more recognized as an air quality problem and more precautions are required to be taken. ANENA provides expertise, from the initial testing of possible ACM within your home, to giving you a detailed report regarding our findings and the lab result copies. ANENA will work closely with you, as a liason, helping you choose a remediation contractor. ANENA provides continuous testing and occupational tests (as required) to ensure the job is being completed safely and properly. When the abatement is complete, ANENA will perform a final clearance test, to check that there are no friable asbestos fibers still in the air. When the air quality meets the acceptable criteria, an air clearance report will be provided by ANENA.
Microbial Contamination Risks
Mould requires two elements in order to grow:
- an organic food source
ANENA offers services that can allow us to not only see the back side of the wall before it is opened up, but also can perform intrusive air tests for possible microbial contamination within the wall cavity.
This helps you and your family by not making the problem worse. If there is a problem, the laboratory analytical data assist ANENA in developing a scope of work for the abatement.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the air quality of any residential, industrial or commercial building, please do not hesitate to give us a call. Our friendly staff, are available to assist you in finding a solution.
